Love Wasn’t Part of the Plan

Love Wasn't Part of the Plan by Prosee Books Emma has a plan for everything. Color-coded schedules. Early morning swim practice. A leather planner that maps out every hour of her day. At seventeen, she's built her entire life around discipline, excellence, and control — because control means safety, and safety means she'll never lose herself to the unexpected. Love was never in the margins. Then Leo Ramirez walks into her world. With paint-splattered jeans, an easy grin, and an effortless charm that makes the whole hallway stop and stare, Leo is everything Emma's plan doesn't account for. He's chaotic, spontaneous, and frustratingly impossible to ignore — the kind of disruption that doesn't just knock on the walls she's built, it threatens to bring them down entirely. As their worlds collide between late-night study sessions and stolen glances, Emma is forced to confront the pressure she's been carrying in silence: a mother's impossible expectations, friendships slowly fraying at the edges, and the exhausting cost of being perfect. And the more time she spends with Leo, the more she wonders — can a plan ever leave room for something real? Love Wasn't Part of the Plan is a heartfelt coming-of-age romance about what happens when the life you've mapped out collides with the person you never saw coming. Perfect for fans of contemporary YA fiction that explores first love, self-discovery, and the courage it takes to let someone in.
